Inspired by the pareddown elegance of contemporary spa design, the open-back table relies completely on shape, wood and construction to communicate a message. The smooth, unbroken lines and crisp corners help ground the otherwise serene design. Piece-varnished weathered teak veneer provides a gentle contrast of pattern and interest. And the lower, elevated shelf is mortise joined to allow for the added weight of oversized decorative objects.
